ZL Hoop Gen 2 comes with a 2-year warranty against manufacturer defects of the materials or internal electronic circuit (LEDs, solder parts, board circuit). Damage as a result of improper use or handling by the customer will not be covered. 

ZL Pandora comes with a 1-year warranty against manufacturer defects of the materials or internal electronic circuit (LEDs, solder parts, board circuit). Damage as a result of improper use or handling by the customer will not be covered. 

 

A proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims. Please keep your original receipt.

All services available online are for hoops that are perfect functional condition.

We will evaluate the item and if found to be a manufacture defect, we will repair or replace the item at no charge to the customer. Please allow up to 48 hrs to answer your email.  We will cover the shipment back to you if the malfunction happened in 30 days from the time that you received the ZL Hula Hoops. 

 

Warranty coverage may include:

  • Defective circuit boards or battery contacts
  • Defective LED lights
  • Electrical damages sustained through normal use of the product
  • Manufacturing flaws or defects
  • Hoops, remote controls and batteries that are damaged or show defects on delivery

NOT covered under warranty:

  • Water or fire damage.The ZL Hoop is water resistant but “DON’T SCUBA-DIVE!” 😊

If a large quantity of water is found inside the electronics this means that the ZL Hoop was submerged and therefore, it will not be covered by the warranty. We also test the source of water found inside the hoop. If we find that it is not rain water, the damage is not covered.

  • Electrical or mechanical issues due to negligence or misuse
  • Damage from customer disassembly (if you think that you cannot re-tube your hoop please send it back to us and we will do it for you for a small fee, if you open the hoop and break the inside, this will not be covered by the warranty)
  • ZL Pandora is not water resistant, neither able to be retubed by customers.
  • Damage and normal wear and tear to tubing such as bends, cracks or creases.
  • Misuse or abuse of the hoop that caused damage to the internal circuit
  • Batteries and Remote Control (unless they are non-functioning at initial delivery).

 

 

All ZL Hula Hoops contain very sensitive components and it is the customer responsibility to avoid misuse of the hoop and take proper care of it. Hoop trauma can cause damaged to the LEDs or whole circuit board can fail. All damages will be determined upon inspection. Will be at our sole discretion to determine if these damages are covered under the warranty.

Any repairs not covered under the warranty will be the responsibility of the customers to be paid. We will provide a cost estimate to replace or repair any items not covered by the warranty.

A deposit might be required before starting the investigations on the issue. A final bill will be sent to the customer. After the bill is paid, we will ship back the hoop to you.

 

All shipments are customer responsibility.

 

Only 14500 Li-ion 3.7V batteries should be used in your ZL Hoop & Gen 2.

Only 10440 Li-ion 3.7V batteries should be used in your ZL Pandora.

Misused Hoop:

If any of our smart ZL Hula Hoops will be found with a damaged due to misused will not be covered by warranty. Hoop trauma can cause damage to the internal circuit like LEDs, board and sections of the circuit will fail.

LEDs, solder parts, board circuit, damage to the tubing or individual led is not cover by the warranty if we determine that the hoop was abused.

Avoid hooping on cement or concrete or other hard surfaces.

Avoid to perform tricks on small spaces where you can hit walls or other hard surfaces.

 

Kinked, Cracked or Bent Tubing:

Normal spinning of the hoop will not cause kinked, creases band or crack to the tubing.

There are significant chances that you will damage the tube if you coil it in a very cold place, if you hoop in cold places and use more aggressive hooping tricks.

Moves that can damaged the tube can be breaks, reversals, jumping trough the tube and lending on it, hitting the hoop on hard surfaces. These aggressive moves can not only damage the tube but also the internal circuit.

Heat can damage your hoop also. Avoid to let hoop near fireplace or outside in the high temperature during summer.

You can damage your hoop by coiling it too much. Please do not coil more than 20 inches.

If the tube gets damaged during travelling due to coiling it too much is not covered by warranty.
